Miroslava Králíková
I am a flutist and music teacher with a main specialization in historical flutes and music of the 16th to 18th centuries.
I studied the modern flute with Božena Růžičková at the Conservatory Brno, where I also took classes of recorder with Eva Harmuthová and Martina Komínková. I continued my studies in historically informed performance at the Academy of Early Music (Masaryk University, Brno, Faculty of Arts) in the class of Lucie Dušková and at the Janáček Academy of Performing Arts in Brno with Michaela Ambrosi. Besides music, I have also studied special and inclusive education with a focus on speech therapy, work with the people with hearing impairment and specific learning disabilities at the Faculty of Education of Masaryk University. I continue to educate myself in both the field of music and pedagogy.
Besides my academic studies I have participated in many courses, workshops and private lessons in the Czech Republic and abroad under the guidance of great musical performers and teachers such as Kate Clark (AU/NL), Benedek Csalog (HU), Marcello Gatti (IT), Marion Treupel-Franck (DE), Amanda Markwick (AU/DE), Jana Semerádová (CZ), Eva Harmuthová (CZ/NL), Martina Komínková (CZ), Barbara Maria Willi (CZ), Jesper B. Christensen (DK/CH), Jitka Konečná (CZ), Davide Monti (IT), Thomas C. Boysen (NO/DE), Jakob D. Rattinger (DE/AT) or Viktor Töpelmann (DE).
I have performed with some of the significant orchestras and ensembles on the early music scene such as Musica Florea (CZ), Ars Antiqua Austria (AT), Ensemble Tourbillon (CZ), Dresdner Instrumental-Concert (DE), Baroque Collegium 1685 (PL), and Plaisirs de Musique (CZ). I have performed at the music festivals such as Barbara Maria Willi presents, Barokowe exploracje, Olomouc Baroque Festival, Bach for All, Hudební lahůdky and others. I am a member of the renaissance flute consort Tourdion. As an orchestral player on the modern flute and piccolo, I collaborated with the Prague Film Philharmonic and the Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra. I also took part in various orchestral projects with which we performed for example with the music groups Hradišťan, Nezmaři or the singer Kamil Střihavka.
I have extensive experience as a teacher, which I began acquiring over 15 years ago as a flute, recorder and chamber music teacher at Jan Štursa Elementary Art School in Nové Město na Moravě. I also worked at Charbulova and Vítězslavy Kaprálové Elementary Art Schools in Brno. In 2018, I started teaching historical flutes at the Academy of Early Music at the Faculty of Arts of Masaryk University in Brno.
